Elliptical Jewelry Box

“Sunshiny Day”

All of the maple in this box is from one exceptional, locally grown maple tree.

This box was made specifically for a fundraising auction for Midwest Special Services. I call it “Sunshiny Day” because the grain pattern and the colors remind me of the sun’s rays. The name also fits because Midwest Special Services brings so much sunshine to their clients and to their community.

The elliptical shape is repeated in the drawer pulls, and in the pattern that they are arranged in.
